What do I get?

As a service provider, you get to rate every task you dispatch, and every agent technician is incentivised to complete tasks to the full satisfaction of both you as the service provider and your customer in whose premises they work with pride.

Technician certifications are valid for up to three years and depending on field performance will undergo periodic re-assessment and re-certification to ensure they maintain competency and keep abreast of technology developments in the field.

All MyTechie work is fully guaranteed, and any event paid for will be credited back to the service provider if the work is not completed to your satisfaction.

Admin accounting

As part of the contractual relationship between the Principal (Technician) and the Agent (MTSA), the company MTSA will:

  • Conduct FICA and accounting requirements on behalf of the supplier to you the customer.

  • Prepare the invoice for work performed by the technician/ the supplier to you the customer. Please note that not all of the technicians are registered for VAT.

  • Make the invoices available on the Platform for customers to request.

  • Send the invoices electronically to the Customer.

  • Receive the customer payment into the MTSA bank account.

  • Allocate the customers remittance advise of the breakdown of the payment against the specific customer invoice.

  • Make payment to the supplier of the customer invoice net of MTSA service fees.

  • The customer’s admin and accounting will be able to record all the suppliers/technicians on the MTSA platform as one supplier account.

MyTechie South Africa (Pty) Ltd (MTSA) is part of the new Gig-economy utilising a shared economy platform.

MTSA, through the use of its App and web portal, provides a platform to you the Customers, whether you are a company or an individual seeking work to be performed by adequately skilled technicians (as your Suppliers) in a specific geographical location at an agreed price based on a willing buyer and willing seller principle.

Below we set out, the MTSA Admin and accounting mechanism between the Customer and Supplier (Technician and Principal of MTSA) and MTSA (the Agent).

MTSA is an Agency company providing services to its Principal the technicians- your supplier.

The players:

  • The Customer: is the company or individual seeking work to be performed. The customer is the customer of the Principal.
  • The Supplier: is the individual technician or technician company providing a service to the Customer.
  • In the MTSA business model;
  1. The Principal : The Supplier/technician has engaged the services of MTSA to act as their Agent to facilitate the business relationship between their customer; and in this regard is the Principal to MTSA.
  2. The Agent:  is MTSA who provide a service to the Principal.
